A small village—Pattadakal is located at the banks of the Malaprabha River in Bagalkot district of Karnataka. Recognized by UNESCO as a world heritage site, this place is famous for its ancient temples and other historic monuments that go back as old as seventh century. The most famous temples in this place are Ambulinga temple, Virupaksha temple.

Dwaraka, Gujarat:

Dwaraka is well known as the place where lord Krishna was born. This ancient city was located on the west shore of the Okhamandal Peninsula and was said to be one of the sacred holy pilgrim center for Hindus.
