BENGALURU: Yamaha India is all set to launch its most anticipated bike the YZF R3 by August 11, reports IndiaToday.

The new Yamaha YZF-R3 will feature dual headlamps, stubby silencer, 10-spoke alloy wheels, digital analogue console and a sharp tail. The company also provides an ABS breaking system to all the Yamaha YZF-R3 bikes. However, the suspensions of the R3 are done by KYB telescopic fork in the front and monoshock at the rear end of the bike.

The new bike comes with a fuel capacity of 14-litres, a weight of 169kg and with a ground clearance of 160mm. The new 321cc Yamaha YZF R3 will compete against the Benelli TNT 300, Honda CBR250R and Kawasaki Ninja 300 in Indian market. The price tag is likely to be between 3 lakh to 3.5 lakh (ex-showroom) and it will be exported to India via CKD kit. The R3 will be available in two color variants Race Blue and Midnight Black.
