The 2016 BMW 7-Series To Be Unveiled On June 10

BANGALORE: The German leading auto maker BMW has come up with a unveil date of the new BMW 7-series this year. The flagship sedan from the company for 2016 will be unveiled on June 10th and it promises to bring out evolutionary design to take on its rivals Mercedes-Benz S Class and the Audi A8, reports NDTV Auto.

In April BMW had previewed this car and now the company has released a teaser video online. The iconic grill at front is carried in the new 7-series and headlamps will shine the laserlight to light up the dark street on the go. The tail lamp also gets an alteration and it is more attractive now with integrated chrome trims and slender design.

The 2016 BMW 7-series specs are not clear yet, as the company hasn’t spilled any seed about it. But earlier company’s spokesperson had mention the major change in the car and that will be 130kg lighter than its predecessor. The car could shed a ton of weight by the ‘Carbon Core’ body structure.

The use of carbon-fibre-reinforced plastic not only makes the car lighter but will play a prime role in driving and handling the vehicle. Other prominent features of the car will be remote parking system and an iDrive Touch Display infotainment system that can be controlled by gestures. The car is true head-turner with its unique mesmerizing looks shown in the teaser.
