Salman Khan's 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' crosses 200 crore mark

BANGALORE: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo has crossed the 200 crore mark at box office in 14 days of its release. Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor starrer has had a non-stop run without any compeition from any movie at the box office.

Salman Khan returned as Prem in a Sooraj Barjatya directed movie after a gap of almost 15 years. In between the actor had done diverse roles like Chulbul Pandey in Dabangg, Devil in ‘Kick’ and action packed roles in ‘Ek Tha Tiger’. His last movie was superhit ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ with director Kabir Khan.

Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’s producer Fox Star tweeted the latest figures. They wrote: “#PremRatanDhanPayo crosses 200 Crore nett & becomes the 2nd film to do so in 2015! Collections today stand at 201.52 Crore @BeingSalmanKhan”

Fox Star Hindi also gave the break up of the latest collections of the film. Prem Ratan Dhan Payo has now become the second film to enter the Rs 200 crore club in 2015. ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ directed by Sooraj Barjatya had an ensemble cast including Neil Nitin Mukesh, Swara Bhaskar, Anupam Kher, Armaan Kohli, Deepak Dobriyal. It released on November 12, a day after Diwali.
