BENGALURU: The most awaited entry-level car from Renault the ‘KWID hatchback’ is finally launched and oh Boy! You can now own it with a mouth watering price starting from just 2.56 lakhs Ex-showroom, Delhi.  Although it’s a entry-level hatchback the car looks more up-market with top notch features on the inside and carries a sporty look on the outside which will surely give a run for its money to its rivals, reports Indiancarsbikes.in

Engine Specs

The Kwid is powered by a 799cc petrol motor that churns out 54PS of power and 72Nm of torque delivered through a 5-speed manual gearbox. Although the power output doesn’t look great on the eyes its low kerb weight of 669Kgs makes the car a delightful city driver. The Kwid also has good amount of road presence as it comes with 180 mm of ground clearance and a boot capacity of 300 litres which is impressive.

Features

On the outside the Kwid features a strong-looking Renault grille with rectangular headlamps, muscular wide front and back bumpers, huge wheel arches, 13-inch steel wheels and thanks to its SUV-kind of design that sets it apart from the crowd as well as its rivals. On the inside it features a seven-inch touchscreen Media Nav system along with Bluetooth and more, which is also first in class for this segment. Although it lacks safety features like ABS or Airbags as standard, the top end variant of car (RXE(O) can be opted with a driver’s side airbag but it’s not available as optional on other trims.

If you still not satisfied with the above features, Renault also offers 60 different accessories like chrome inserts, roof rails, side cladding, seat covers and more customization options for its customers.

The Renault Kwid is available is a total of six trim levels that include STD, RXE, RXE(O), RXL , RXT and the fully loaded being the RXT(O) version. In terms of colour options, it’s available in a total of five that include Fiery Red, Ice Kool White, Moonlight Silver, Outback Bronze, Planet Grey.
