New Nissan X-trail to Debut in Delhi Auto Expo 2016


BENGALURU: The Japanese car manufacturing giant Nissan has now announced the launch of newer version of its previous model that was rolled out due to grim sales in the market from the past few years. As per the report of the One drive, the car will be launched at the Delhi auto expo 2016.

X-trail is the car, that is getting beefed up with the updated version of 2016 and the news was officially confirmed by the company recently. Relatively, the car was initially exhibited in Frankfurt Auto Show in 2013.

The company has planned to make it a seven seater and will be assembled under the Nissan’s CMF platform. The car is a foremost vehicle from Nissan to be built under the respective platform for the Indian conditions.

Dimension of the car is bit revamped when compared to its older version as the it is equipped with the 76mm longer wheelbase, 17mm longer than the older car and is also wider comparatively but the height of the car is retained as the older version.

In contrast of the older version the car is shaped circularly and other tweaks include LED DRLs along with projector lamps in headlamp section and V-shaped chrome bar on the from grill

As per the reports, the car will be available in either 1.6 litre or 2.0-litre, diesel engine producing maximum power output of 128HP and maximum torque of 320Nm fused with to a six-speed CVT gearbox.

Reports also claim that the price of the new car shall be marked anywhere around 30 lakh to 40 lakh and is expected to compete with Honda CR-V and Hyundai Santa Fe.
