Ferrari Re-Enters India With California T Priced At 3.45 Cr


BANGALORE: Italian supercar maker Ferrari has officially made its presence in India once again with the release of it most admired convertibles - the California T.  The trendy convertible priced at INR 3.45 Crore (in the ex-showroom Mumbai) is noted to be Ferrari’s most affordable supercar in India.

 Listed as the first of many to roll in India, it has paved way for the entrance of the Italian marque’s rest that is set to follow. California T is powered by 3.9 litre, for which the V8 injection engine can deliver a high power of 553 PS with top speed of 315 kmph. It can come up to 100kmph speed within 3.6 seconds. The In-Style F1-inspired convertible has dual clutch that comes with a 7 gears system along with one reverse gear, reports Oncars.

In the second innings, Ferrari India has collaborated with two dealerships - Select Cars in Delhi and Navnit Motors in Mumbai. Delhi showroom is set to inaugurate at Mathura Road while The Mumbai showroom is expected to establish its office at the hub of the business district of Bandra Kurla Complex.

Even though the company’s Dealers are still setting up the new-fangled showrooms, the company has taken a step forward by  accepting bookings for the  newest California T. Furthermore, sources affirm that Ferrari's annual quota for India has already been sold out as the dealership acceptance of booking will continue only for 2016 deliveries.

It is expected that Ferrari will soon be directing its entire line up to India in the near future. This Includes Ferrari 458 Spider, Ferrari 488 GTB, Ferrari FF, Ferrari 458 Speciale and the Ferrari F-12 Berlinetta setting  that list at INR 4.72 crore (ex-showroom, Mumbai).
