Auto Expo 2016: Mahindra All Set to Showcase its Sports Coupe 'XUV Aero'


BENGALURU: Mahindra has made its stand in the Indian market by unveils different variants of SUVs with respect to customers’ needs. Now Mahindra to unveil its XUV Aero concept, the company's most expressive design to be unveiled at the exhibition starting February 5, according to indiatimes.com.

Mahindra expects the XUV Aero to be the showstopper among other 20 vehicles which will be on display at its pavilion. Vehicles like trucks, two-wheelers, electric vehicles and racing cars and bikes, including from units such as SsangYong, Genzee and Reva are to be displayed. However, the XUV Aero is designed by a 45-year-old Ramkripa Ananthan with her 45-members team.

The Mahindra Group has agreed to buy the XUV Aero design from an italian car-styling company for more than 1,240 crore. Mahindra is well known for its SUVs body designs and XUV 500 was the first model that came out with a distinctly expressive design that the customers loved where as the recent KUV 100 suits the general customer norms in the hatchback segment. This change in SUVs design has become one of the top factors that influence the decision of buyers.

Mahindra and Mahindra put itself forward globally at the Auto Expo. It would be showcasing its futuristic vehicles with decent accessible technology. Mahindra says, its show car will reflect their bold design and it will come with all the futuristic connected technology.
