8 Films That Reflect The Glory Of Indian Parallel Cinema

Tasher Desh

Director: Quashiq Mukherjee(Q)

Cast: Anubrata, Joyraj, Rii, Tinu Verghese, Tilottoma Shome

The parallel film unveils two parallel lives on the same string – the life of a prince and a poet. The director sets the idea of Rabindranath Tagore’s dance drama, Tasher Desh in today’s world with no alteration in the nomenclature and plot. Critics and viewers have already bowed to the Luduvico Technique style of shot presentation by Q. It’s over loaded and might need your multiple watches to get grab of all the underlying subjects within the two hours. An Oracle with David Bowie cheekbones, a toddler prince with a sword along with resonant music from the Q, Miti and Neel makes the film quasi-entertaining.
