Renault Lodgy

In the great Indian MPV segment, crowded by the top sellers like Toyota Innova and Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, Renault’s Lodgy is a big entry in the market. The Lodgy is a low cost MPV that is sold in Europe with the Dacia badge. The Lodgy sold in Europe has got two variants, one with 5 seats layout and another with seven seats layout, while the Indian variant is believed to be a seven seater along with new interiors. Lodgy is larger than Innova and offers more value for money. The engines that will sport of the vehicle is likely to be the 1.5 litre K9K turbo diesel-6 speed manual and the1.6 litre HR16DE petrol-5 speed manual.

Datsun Redigo

Under the CMF-A architecture, the Redigo hatchback will be the lowest priced Datsun in India with a price close to 2.5 Lakhs. The low cost should not fool one because Nissan wants to position Datsun Redigo as a sporty hatckback in order to draw the attention of the young audiences. The car will use an India made 800cc triple cylinder petrol motor, with heavy localization to boost.
