Chitrakoot Falls

In between Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh, the giant waterfalls of India ‘Chitrakoot’ claimed its area. Chitrakoot is the widest Indian water fall and it becomes more terrible in monsoon. Based on its monsoon appearance Chitrakoot is known as Indian Niagara.  It falls from a height of about 100 feet and extends up to 150 meters from the peak of rocks; mainly during monsoon. River Indravati, a side stream of Narmada is the resource of this largest waterfall.
