Mahindra and Mahindra acquired the Reva Electric Car Company in 2010 and it was renamed as Mahindra Reva Electric Vehicles Pvt Ltd. Along with the change of name the company bought in a new electrical car named e2o. Now, Mahindra is following the steps of Tesla by making an electric sportscar which was displayed as a concept car at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo

This year Mahindra is all set to launch their new electric sports car.. Called the Holo, the car will have a top speed of 160 Kmph andwill cover a range of 200 kilometers with one charge. As we know electric sports cars are powerful and good sprinters, Halo delivers 0-100 kph run in under 8 seconds. The pricing of this vehicle may range up to 15-20 lakh rupees.

Indian car market doesn’t have many coupe segment cars , So . DC steps in with Avanti the new coupe segment car manufactured by the Sportscar designer Dilip Chhabria. Avanti was first showcased in 2012 Auto Expo Delhi and this sports car design carries the similar design like the Ferrari and seats only 2 people in it.

Under the hood, it is equipped with a Renault-sourced, 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine producing 250 bhp with a six-speed dual-clutch transmission. This delivers a top speed of 180 Kph and all this you can get it at 35 lakh rupees and bookings for the car is open now for 5 lakh rupees.
