Devil’s Bridge:

Constructed in the 16th century by a builder Dimitar, Dyavolski, it is one of the most stunning of the humpbacked bridges over the Arda River. The bridge is located near the town of Ardino and there are several dark tales associated with the bridge. Some say that devil’s footprints can be found on the rocks below the bridge, while others say that the builder’s wife died during the construction and her shadow was encased in the bridge. It’s certainly a place to visit and explore the dark side of it.

Church of Potosi, Venezuela:

Between 1985 and 2008, travelers were accustomed to the eerie sight of the Cross rising from the lake formed by the Uribante reservoir in Venezuela. After 2008 the gothic structure started to show more and more of the submerged structure. By 2010 the river receded permanently, revealing the massive structure beneath. For years the cross was considered to be a symbol for the spirit of a town washed away.
