The Datsun Go+ will be launched in India as Nissan’s first big launch for this year. The Datsun Go+ is an MPV repetition of the Go hatchback.

It can be seen as Go hatchback only with a new body style and 7 seat feature, as most of the mechanicals and features are borrowed from the hatchback version.

The car will have a 1.2 liter HR12DE triple cylinder petrol motor in 67 Bhp-104 Nm state of tune, while torque transmission to the front wheels will be operated by a 5 speed manual gearbox. Listing it among one of the most affordable cars in India, Go+ is to be launched at a rate of under 4 lakhs.

In the great Indian MPV segment, crowded by the top sellers like Toyota Innova and Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, Renault’s Lodgy is a big entry in the market.

The Lodgy is a low cost MPV that is sold in Europe with the Dacia badge. The Lodgy sold in Europe has got two variants, one with 5 seats layout and another with seven seats layout, while the Indian variant is believed to be a seven seater along with new interiors.

Lodgy is larger than Innova and offers more value for money. The engines that will sport of the vehicle is likely to be the 1.5 liter K9K turbo diesel-6 speed manual and the1.6 liter HR16DE petrol-5 speed manual.
