Nubra Valley:

Located on the north-eastern side of the Ladakh valley, Nubra is about 150 km north away from Leh. Here, two rivers namely, Shyok and Siachan meet each other and form a valley. With this valley, they separate the mountain ranges of Ladakh and Karakoram.

Out of the two rivers, the Shyok River is a part of the Indus River. To reach here you need to have a permit from the DC office of Leh and then travel via the Khardung La pass to reach There.

Sandakphu:

If you are planning to go trekking and unable to choose the perfect destination for the same, then this is the paradise for trekkers located in Darjeeling. This is the highest peak of that district and is located at a height of 3, 636 meters.

It has colourful trees all over the mountain but the peak of Sandakphu grows the poisonous aconite plants, this is where its name comes from which means ‘Height of the Poison plant’. The Singalila range of Sandakphu is the most daring points for trekking out of all the routes on the Darjeeling-Sikkim ranges.
