# Some say that the amount of research done on it to professionalize for the big stage reflected on its price, it took three years of intense research when it was finally Okayed and got the ‘go’.

# Its international entrance was during the U-19 world championship finals and semifinals, although it came late on to the big stage it was already used in some countries as to their domestic cricket leagues.

# With the advance in technology, Umpire’s life is made easy as he is not the one to be blamed if the decision goes against the appealing team. Earlier umpires used to be in a dilemma if the runner got out prior to the wickets being dislodged or after.

Now with these bails it is much too easier as it lights up as soon as it is impacted by a move.

# A microprocessor is inbuilt in them which is powered by  low voltage batteries that are incorporated in both the stumps and bails. The microprocessor activates right after the bail’s connection is dislodged.

# The bails along with the wickets come up with LED fitted in them, which spruce up a response in 1/1000th of a second if the bails are dislodged.

# The set is made up of composite plastic which have some sensitive retrospection, also the bails light up bright red when the wickets are broken.

# It also helps in the case of stumping, if the wicketkeeper dislodges the bails before the batsmen gets back in, the umpire can make a decision based on them.
