The Top Nations With No Armed Forces

Liechtenstein:

The smallest yet the richest (by measure of GDP per capita) German-speaking country,  Liechtenstein, like Costa Rica, abolished its existing army in 1868 after the Austro-Prussian War as it was too expensive for the country to afford it.

Once the country was out of the German Confederation, it was obliged to create an army for its own but the funding was not available. Principality of Liechtenstein National Police, the police force of the country, keeps the stability and peace of the country.

Switzerland might help the country in the event of an attack, although there is no official word about it.

Grenada:

An island nation, Grenada is located northwest of Trinidad and Tobago, northeast of Venezuela, and southwest of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

Ever since American-led invasion of Grenada, the country had no army force. The invasion was the result of the military coup and power struggle in Grenada which led to the execution of the Prime Minister, Maurice Bishop.

Although the country has no deals with any nation to protect it in the event of a war, the Island nation would get help from Barbados, Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Dominica, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

The country relies on the Royal Grenada Police Force as well as the Regional Security System for its internal security.
