Smosh

Created to perform a comedy by teenage best friends, Ian Hecox and Daniel Padila started the Smosh channel in 2005. Smosh channel has more than 22 million subscribers and 5.6 billion video views. The Smosh team has expanded to include others to handle animated, other language, and video gaming content videos, and the sketches have included more actors. The duo, who called themselves Smosh, posted their “Power Rangers” video to Myspace. It got enough reaction that they filmed a follow up to the song from “Mortal Kombat.” Then they polled their audience of around 20 or so to see what video they should do next. “Pokémon” was the clear winner.
