BANGALORE: Bernard Weber has fashioned a project on the “7 new wonders “and on doing so has shed light on some of the greatest natural and man-made wonders of the world. The ‘Seven Wonders of the World’ that was established previously will be classic historical value. However, the new project highlights what the modern man has to offer in his works of creation.

The campaign for NEW 7 Wonder Cities started as a project to initiate responsiveness and help cities recognize challenges faced including those in regard to the future‘s  “urban planning to metropolitan governance, from tourism to architecture.” Reports Business Insider India. 

The global competition that started with over 1,200 nominees from 220 countries was limited to one city per country and narrowed down by the board of experts led by Federico Mayor, former Director-General of UNESCO, to 28 suggestions, following which the 28 city finalist were chosen by hundreds of millions of voters from around the world who selected the 7 winning cities.
