Real Super Heroes of India Who Turn a Plan Into Action

The highly awarded strategist, Mukherjee made a difference by transforming his words into action when fellow Indians looked up in dismay when boxer Sarita Devi returned her bronze medal earned at the Asian Games. He started a campaign to support the player by collecting funds for her. The campaign brought a sum of Rs 1.7 lakh from 113 users who came forward to help.

Chewang Norphel

Chewang Norphel, a retired 62 year old civil engineer, brought an extraordinary change with an ordinary perspective on life. Winters in Ladakh witness acute scarcity of water as the sole provider of water- the glacier freezes in winters. To overcome this problem, Norphel in 1987 designed the first artificial glacier in Phuktse Phu Village. His idea brought relief to local communities and also improved agriculture to some extent.
