Mysterious Airplane Disappearances that Remain Unsolved

Flying Tiger Line Flight 739

Flying Tiger Line Flight 739 was a plane chartered by US military to transport 93 US soldiers and 3 Vietnamese from Travis Air Force Base in California to Vietnam. The Aircraft disappeared over the Western Pacific Ocean on March 16, 1962 and was never found. After a brief halt at Andersen Airforce Base in Guam the prop liner was en route to Clark Air Base when it disappeared. All the 107 missing persons were presumed dead.
