Mysterious Airplane Disappearances that Remain Unsolved

On a cold winter morning, a Boeing 707-323C cargo aircraft took off from Narita International Airport in Tokyo headed to its destination Rio de Janeiro. With six crew members on board, the cargo-holds of the plane was stacked with 153 paintings worth 1.4 million USD. The aircraft lost contact after 30 minutes of its take-off and neither the wreck nor the paintings were ever found. The cause of the incident that occurred on 30th of January 1979 is supposed to be cabin de-pressurization.
