CWG: Meet India's 10 Gold Medal Winners

The two ladies gave India its first gold medal in squash in the Commonwealth Games.

Joshna Chinappa and Dipika Pallikal combined brilliantly to clinch gold in the women’s doubles final after the pair outplayed Jenny Duncalf and Laura Massaro of England in Glasgow. The Chennai girls trained by their International coaches made India proud.

# Babita Kumari (Wrestling)

Babita Kumari beat Canada’s Brittanee Laverdure in the wrestling finals and won the gold medal in the women’s 55kg freestyle category. Babita put on a stunning show with a score of 9-2 against her opponent. She was dominating for most part and the last 15 seconds Brittanne managed to come back, till then, the  game already was in favor of Babita. The 24-year-old had bagged the silver in the 2010 Commonwealth Games earlier. Babita Kumari hails from a sporting family and her sister Geeta Kumari is the gold medalist in the last edition of Commonwealth Games.
