The south Indian restaurant is located next to the kapleeshwar temple in Mylapore, which serves authentic south Indian food. It was started 65 years ago, back then it served meals for 50 people with the owners serving the customers personally. The restaurant provides homely food in a banana leaf where hot coffee adds flavors to the south Indian tradition. Podi dosa is a famous dish in the restaurant that attracts many vegetarians.

Popularly known as MTR, is one of the oldest places famous for its south Indian breakfast and lunch. The place maintains its old charm with its popular are set dosa and the neer dosa dishes. The neer dosa is best served with jiggery and coconut mixture.
