The super hero was introduced to the world by writer Bill Finger and artist Bob Kane. Not many years back was the comic story adopted by Christopher Nolan, making the Batman superhero into a million dollar box office movie starring Christian Bale.

Marvel Comic #1:  

The first ever issue of Marvel Comics was dated back to October 1939, where action heroes like Human Torch, The Angel and Namor- the Sub Mariner were introduced. This company, The Marvel Comics is the reigning franchise of the superhero media. Walt Disney acquired them in 2009. The Marvel Comic #1 was sold for $578,000 and the first edition of this series sold out 80,000 copies in the first month and in the second month it touched 800,000 copies.

Batman #1:

Batman finally gets his own comic book and also introduces his sidekick Robin. This book gave answers to all the speculation of “who he was, where he came from and his enemies’. The Batman series is known to have been quarterly publications but was later made a monthly publication by DC comic. This comic was sold for $530,000. Batman is one of the only biggest superhero franchises in history.

Captain America comics #1:  

The first comic to introduce the captain of the avenger’s team was published back in March 1941. The story talks of a young man who was injected with a strength giving serum and later becoming a one man army taking on the Nazis. This series was created by Jack Kirby and Joe Simon, and the book for auctioned and sold for $353,000.
