Umaid Bhawan Palace: located in Jodhpur this property was built between the years 1928 and 1943. Maharaja Umaid Singh used to live here and now the Taj Group of Hotels is managing the property and serving the guests with their excellence. The exterior of the building has a gold hue by the sandstone used. With six different varieties of rooms and suites available for the guests the palace in all has 64 rooms and suites to accommodate the visitors. The Art Deco Style of the palace merges the heritage beauty very well with the contemporary style. Henry Lanchester, an Edwardian architect designed this whole magnificent palace as per the instructions of the Maharaja.
