Kodinhi Village

Kodinhi is similar to any other village in India apart from the unusually high number of twins born here. More so the village has the highest twin birth rate in the entire world. The place is a home for 204 pairs of twins which account to 10 percent of the village’s population. Alsoknown as the Mysterious Twin Village, Kodinhi is situated in the state of Kerala. 45 in every 1000 births are twins in Kodinhi compared to twin birth rate of 4 in every 1000 in India.
