BENGALURU: India’s defence is in an aggressive attempt to replace and modernize its ageing and outdated equipments, aircrafts, weapons and technologies in order to deter attacks and boost military strength.

Defence research organizations and techies are constantly in attempt to equip new devices either by collaborating with foreign companies or design indigenously. Focus is definitely more on indigenous products confirms Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar. The emphasis on ‘Designed in India’ will also help the country to retain Intellectual Property Rights and build an independent defence equipment manufacturing wing.
