No more Terrorism: 5 Technology Safety Measures for India


BANGALORE: The 26/11 Mumbai terror attack has shocked the entire nation and resulted in the loss of 166 innocent civilians and leaving more than 600 people injured.  But the attack on Mumbai led to the exposure of several weaknesses in India's intelligence gathering and action networks. Thus the country has put in more safety measures since the terrorists are well occupied with latest technologies. National Intelligence Grid (NATGRID)

The National Intelligence Grid or NATGRID is the integrated intelligence grid connecting databases of core security agencies of the Government of India to collect comprehensive patterns of intelligence that can be readily accessed by intelligence agencies. It was first proposed in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks on Mumbai in 2008 and was yet to establish as of 2014.
