BANGALORE: Narendra Modi is the 15th Prime Minister of India, after his party came into power in May of 2014. The numerous promises that were made by the party have been under the watchful eyes of the citizens. The country is holding the government responsible to fulfill these promises.

With regards to the changes that the BJP government wanted to bring, the country is already witnessing some remarkable shifts but with some disappointment as well. Well disappointments can be understood since the government has just been in place for a little over 100 days.

So in these 100 days here are the biggest changes and some misses as well.

The changes

Speedy Decisions: This aspect was witnessed with the budget that was presented in June after which many of the proposals took a swift turn with implementation. In addition, the government has started the reworking of projects that were launched during the UPA, which was stalled but is now on track.

International Relations: Modiji opened up his rule over the country by inviting and meeting with the Premier Citizens of the SAARC nations as a sign of gesture for better relations among them. He has also made four huge visits to the BRIC summit, Nepal, Myanmar and to Japan in this short span of taking office.

This brings in hopes of India partnering to raise the economy of the country and also inviting investors to make a home in India. Sri Lanka has released imprisoned fishermen and Modi made the visit to Nepal which was a record as the PM who went to the land after 17 years.

FDI: With Arun Jaitley as his advisor for finances, Modi has already opened the country for huge flow of foreign investment that is already taking shape in the country. He has made his stand with the WTO issues as well pushing for better schemes for India.
