Mumbai University Home to Maximum Multi-Millionaire Alumni

Bangalore: The University of Mumbai has one of the highest numbers of multi-millionaires as alumni. If you were to compare the Universities over the world after having left out the United States from the list, you will come to the pleasant conclusion that the University of Mumbai stands only second in the total number of multi millionaires from among its alumni, the first being Oxford, as reported Kounteya Sinha for TNN.

However, this is the only Indian University among the top twenty in the list. The University stands at number 18 in the list of universities with the most number of multi millionaire alumni over the world and these include the renowned Mukesh Ambani and Sunil Gavaskar. It has a total of three hundred and seventy two alumni that have now turned multi millionaires, as concluded in a research by WealthX, a wealth analyst.

While compared with Indian Universities, the University of Delhi too is found to be having a large number of super rich alumni, its total number being two hundred and twenty nine.

The University that stands at number one in the list is Harvard.  The University has a total of two thousand, nine hundred and sixty four multi millionaires from among its alumni. The total number of billionaires from among its alumni is fifty two, thus making it the highest when it comes to the University with the highest number of billionaires among its alumni.
