BENGALURU: Modi’s new cabinet is being lauded for various reasons from all sections in the country. The cabinet reshuffle has reflected Modi’s agenda for the term. His pick of the new cabinet members shows that he is carrying forward the RSS legacy a step further.

Modi’s pick of new ministers have a ‘wow’ factor about them. Three of the new ministers, Manohar Parrikar, Suresh Prabhu, Rajiv Pratap Rudy, and Jayant Sinha are not just politicians, but politicians with expertise in administration. Along the lines of John F. Kennedy’s, “Ask not what America can do for you, ask what you can do for America,” Modi says, “show me what you are capable of and I may have something for you. Prove Yourself.” He throws an open challenge to his party men. Modi’s agenda is as much about politics as it is performance.
