India, South Korea Industrial Partnership Growing Fast

NEW DELHI: The industrial partnership between India and South Korea has considerably grown in recent years with nearly 8,000 Indians working in South Korea and nearly 10,000 Koreans working in Indian companies, Ambassador of Korea to India Hyun Cho said here today.

The Ambassador made the comments during his visit to the New Delhi Institute of Management (NDIM).

"Samsung, LG, Hyundai and many other Korean companies have become household names in India are in fact more Indian than Korean. The partnership is growing fast with nearly 8,000 Indians working in South Korea and nearly 10,000 Koreans working in Indian companies," he said.

"Before I came to India I read many books about India and found the country to be intriguing. Currently Indian economy is 1/5th of Chinese economy but India will catch up in the next few years keeping current growth rates in mind," he added.
