IPL 8: Excitement Doubles for Fans Apart From Live Action

BANGALORE: IPL is the most celebrated form of cricket in India. And when IPL 2015 is nearing, Indian fans want their maximum involvement in the sport. Keeping this in mind, IPL in association with BCCI has come up with an idea of bringing together all the fans at one place, by setting up fan-parks in various cities.

Alongside the 12 venues, where IPL would be conducted, in 15 cities IP fan parks will be established. In this way, the people who are not able to see the live match can also get enthralled during the matches.  In these fan-parks, big giant screens will be installed and can accommodate around 10, 000 fans. The entry in the fan club would be on first come first serve basis.

To boost the excitement, various food and beverage stalls will be set in the park and music will help the fans to cheer up the fans during the matches.

According to Anurag Thakur, BCCI Honorary Secretary in the official website of IPL, “T20 provides the perfect platform for us to grow the game and taking it to newer venues. During the summer, Fanparks will provide an ideal outing for families. It aims to bring the match venues to those who have not been able to watch a cricket match from the stands in a stadium so far,” reports Deccan Chronicle.
