Parliament Canteen and ATF Price Cut:

Customers of Parliament Canteen take a sigh of relief as the government has cut down the prices of food items in Parliament canteen. Earlier the rates being hiked for items being served there but now the food is served at subsidized rates. Aviation Turbine Fuel has also been cut by 10 percent in the latest instances of fall of oil prices globally. ATF price in Delhi was reduced by 4,428 per kilolitre (kl) or 9.99 percent to 39,892.32 per kl.

LPG Subsidy:

Subsidized cooking gas will no longer be provided to consumers earning 10 lakh or more a year. This series of reforms included market-based diesel prices, direct transfer of LPG subsidy and a new approach towards oilfield contracts that eliminates bureaucratic meddling. In keeping with the approach of trusting the citizens, the rule will initially be implemented on self-declaration basis for cylinders booked from January 2016 onwards.
