Age No Bar for Brilliance: 8 Year Old Brainiac Astounds Satya Nadella with His New Gaming Application


BENGALURU: Medansh Mehta, an eight-year-old genius from Mumbai recently met the Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella at the CEO's meeting party with the student developers in India, where he showcased his new gaming application. Medansh, a master in coding process has developed a gaming app known as ‘Let There Be Light’. Flabbergasted by the exceptional brilliance, Satya Nadella also included the kid in his keynote speech. Apart from developing gaming app, the kid is aware of the various issues related to economy and infrastructure of the country.

"You have to build things like factories, farms so that the prosperity of the city increases. At a certain level, the city brightens up and you have to reach a certain level of prosperity that is 1,500 coins in 5 minutes," says Medansh Mehta in an interview with CNBC, explaining about the working process of the game.

In a conversation with Satya Nadella, Medansh mentioned about his dream of becoming the CEO of Microsoft and asked how he can achieve it. Responding to the kid, Nadella marked that he is already ambitious beyond being the next CEO and the game has enough sensibility.

According to the little boy, the main theme of his game is to balance industrial growth and agriculture so that the pollution and growth rate can be controlled, also helping to create a sustainable economy. Taken aback by the unique concept, Nadella said that it is a complex and good theme which everybody in the world likes.

"I met an eight-year-old, and this is perhaps the time where I felt the most inadequate. And, the eight-year-old's dream is to create a society that knows how to balance economic growth with environmental sustainability," says Nadella, concluding his speech.
