#1.Detroit, Michigan

Detroit is the most populous city in the U.S. state of Michigan and the largest city on the United States–Canada border. Earlier, Casino gaming played an important economic role, with Detroit the largest city in the United States to offer casino resort hotels. The casino hotels had contributed significant tax revenue along with thousands of jobs for residents. Now, the city is bankrupt, Detroit filed the largest municipal bankruptcy case in U.S. history. It was declared bankrupt by U.S. judge Stephen Rhodes on December 3, with an $18.5 billion debt.  Now everyone has migrated to the suburbs, it looks like Detroit will probably not exist in 20 years.

Mom and Pop stores is a small family owned business operated in a small space that has a minimum amount of employees. Usually they have only a small quantity of business volume, and are usually not franchised, unlike large corporations, which have multiple operations in various locations. Due to the rise of big retailer stores like walmart and Petco, Mom and pop stores likely to disappear soon.
