7 Things to Know About The New AC Coach Unveiled by Indian Railways

Fire-Retardant Materials:

The interiors of the new AC Coaches are made of fire-retardant materials. In simple words, most of the materials used inside the coaches can reduce the quick spread of the fire, if in case the coach or the  whole train is caught up with an unexpected fire.

Dual swing doors:

The Indian Railways suffered a huge number of casualties in recent train accidents and the media claimed uneasy exit to be the main reason as doors are mostly jammed after the mishap. So in order to prevent such hassles, coaches are now upgraded with dual swing doors, which can be opened on either side, for quick evacuations during the time emergency.
