Abdul Hamid:

Company Quartermaster Havildar Abdul Hamid is remembered as one of the greatest heroes of Indo-Pakistani War of 1965. While Hamid was serving as Company Quartermaster at the Khem Karan Sector, the enemy troops were ascending towards the Indian camp. Apprehending movements of enemy, Hamid took control of the gun mounted on a jeep and tactically fired two enemy tanks. His furious attacks were spotted by the enemy tanks, thus they targeted him. Suffering severe wounds Hamid died on the battle field.

Major Shaitan Singh:

Major Shaitan Singh, one among the legends of the independent Indian war history. Major Shaitan Singh was appointed to lead a deployment at Rezang La, bordering china at an altitude 17,000 feet. On 18 November 1962, Chinese troops forged towards Indian border, thus Indian troops came under immense pressure to defend territory. As it happened, Major Singh played crucial role in strategic formation of the Indian troops, which eventually defended the attack successfully. Unfortunately, Major Singh was intensely wounded and died eventually.
