1. Rosa Parks:

Rosa Louise McCauley Parks, who was an African-American woman, was called by U.S. Congress as the “first lady of civil rights” as she was a civil rights activist and also the “mother of the freedom movement”. She brought a change in the world where it was believed Black People are lower in status when compared with White people. It was on December 1st, 1955, in Montgomery, Alabama, where she made slight change in that belief when she refused to obey the order of the bus driver in which she was traveling after she was asked to leave her seat in the colored section to a white passenger, after all the seats were filled up in the white section. After that incident, Rosa never turned back; she turned out to be an international icon of battle against racial isolation. She effectively campaigned to restrain the ethnic discrimination.
