Chanda Kochhar (Business):



Managing Director and CEO, ICICI Bank



Kochhar is ranked 59th in the list of 100 World’s Most Powerful Women. She is currently the Managing Director and CEO of ICICI Bank, India’s largest private bank. Kochhar became the CEO and MD on May 2009. She had succeeded K V Kamath, who was CEO of the bank since 1996. Under Kochhar’s leadership, ICICI Bank had won the “Best Retail Bank in India” award in 2001, 2003, 2004 and 2005 and “Excellence in Retail Banking Award” in 2002; both the awards had been given by The Asian Banker. Kochhar personally was awarded “Retail Banker of the Year 2004 (Asia-Pacific region)” by the Asian Banker. Her list of awards do not stop here. She was awarded “Business Women of the Year 2005” by The Economic Times and “Rising Star Award” for Global Awards 2006 by the Retail Banker International. Kochhar has also been honored with Padma Bhushan Award, the highest civilian honor by the Government of India for the year 2010 for her services to banking sector.

2: This is a doctored report Kapil sibal, chidu or Ahmed patel can answer how Forbes listed Sonia on their list.
Sonia must have been the richest politician due to the kickbacks also called mota maal , which congress is used to.
