One last wicket for Gilly

The Mumbai Indians were all but lost in a chase of 184 runs against the Kings XI Punjab at Dharmashala, they needed 51 runs of the last over which is impossible even by any standards.

At a time like this Adam Gilchrist came in to bowl by handing the gloves to Praveen Kumar in what was his last match in the IPL. And to his delight, he earned a wicket at the first ball of Harbahajan Singh who was on strike.

Gilchrist bowled at a slow pace and Bhajji wanted to show the way to covers but his timing wasn’t subtle which resulted Gilchrist his first and last wicket of his IPL career. The shot was caught by Gurkeerat Singh on the long-on fence.
