13 Ministers In Modi's Cabinet Who Are Facing Criminal Cases


Nitin Gadkari:

Union Transport Minister, Nitin Gadkari, considered as a key member of Narendra Modi's core group is known as an able administrator with innovative approaches.

However, Gadkari is facing four cases, uut of which one is related to threatening while two  cases are for to acquiring wealth through illegal means.

Gadkari was elected to the Lok Sabha from Nagpur, a traditional Congress stronghold, defeating seven-time winner Vilas Mutthemwar by a margin of about three lakh vote.

Ram Vilas Paswan:

The Lok Janshakti Party chief Ram Vilas Paswan who is taking charge of consumer affairs, food and public distribution portfolios, is a seasoned politician.

He is credited with removing the tag of 'political untouchability' from Narendra Modi by being the first to rejoin the NDA that he had quit following the 2002 Gujarat riots.

But, Paswan is facing charges in connection with irregularities in the recruitment process at two public-sector units in 2008 and for cases of bribery.
