Media is known for its freedom of thought, speech and expression but has it hit on its own heels regarding its statement? Media is at its best when its covering a story that is affecting the general public and airing the issues of citizens to the deaf ears of the government. Media as a whole needs to maintain its purity in publishing and covering news and not retort to paid journalism. Our media only covers what the masses want to see and doesn’t show what the country really needs to see what’s going on with its citizens. This prejudice of news coverage needs to stop immediately.

This is an age old debate—whether to give women equal rights or not in all walks of life. Feminism is a completely misunderstood concept in India. Indians think that men have all the rights and women don’t. People who think in such manner should always think about their mothers first who has bought them into this world. Then only they will truly understand the meaning of being a woman and her rights.
