The Controversies That Rocked B-Town

The AbRam story:

After the birth of Amir’s son Azad through surrogacy, Sharukh Khan opted for the same for AbRam, but that was not a smooth ride as it was for Amir. Sharukh and Gauri created a controversy after the couple was accused of conducting pre-natal sex determination tests to find the sex of their baby on the way.

Although he was cleared from the allegations later, Sharukh repeatedly thrashed the speculations, and said, "I did not like that fact when the media spoke about the surrogacy. I hate it. They said I had sex determination test, which was rubbish. I am too educated to be indulging in this non-sense. He was suffering. He was ill and people were talking about sex determination just because he is the child of a famous movie star."

Sharukh is still unhappy by the kind of unwanted attention and allegations he was charged against, recollecting the time when Bombay Civic Body sent a team to his residence to find the facts about the entire issue.
