2 States is a 2014 romantic comedy film directed by Abhishek Verman based on the 2009 novel of the same name written by Chetan Bhagat. It is produced by Karan Johar and Sajid Nadiadwala. The film stars Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in lead roles.

The film released on April 18, 2014 and earned positive reviews from critics and has been received exceptionally well by audiences. Satellite Rights of 2 States were sold for 30 crore to Set Max. It is expected to be a story of two people madly in love but from two different states of India. Both are trying hard to convince their families about this marriage at last they succeed after facing enough troubles.

Gunday stars Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor, as Bikram and Bala, along with Priyanka Chopra and Irrfan Khan, in lead roles. Based in Kolkata during its most unsettled times in the ‘70’s, the film deals with the inseparable life of Bikram and Bala, who grew from being small time, inconsequential coal thieves, to becoming the most powerful black marketing mafia-men. The movie is a story about two happy-go-lucky renegades who came to be known as Gunday.
