Gandhi (1982)

Gandhi was directed by Richard Attenborough, on the life of the historic figure and leader Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, from his racist experiences in South Africa to his assassination in 1948. Ben Kingsley played Gandhi in the movie and the movie went on to impress everyone and has bagged eight Academy awards as well.
