#9. Steve Sanghi, CEO of Microchip Technology:
Since February 1990, Steve Sanghi is employed by Microchip Technology Incorporated. In August 1990 he became the President and in October 1991 he became the CEO of the company. He worked for Intel Corporation from 1978 to 1988 in various engineering and management positions.

He has been the Chairman of Microchip Technology Inc., since October 1993 and FlipChip International, LLC since September 2013. He serves as Chairman of FIRST organization and Adflex Solutions Inc.

He was also a Director of United States Foundation for Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology. He also worked as Member of the Board of Directors of Hittite Microwave Corporation since October 1, 2013 until July 22, 2014.

He has a degree in Electronics and Electrical Communications Engineering from Punjab Engineering College in 1975 and holds an M.S. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, Massachusetts.

His total compensation during 2013 is more than 28 crores and the company had a total return of 3 percent.

#8. Moshe Gavrielov, CEO of Xilinx:
Since January 2008, Moshe Gavrielov has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of Xilinx Inc. Gavrielov started his career in the various Engineering and Management positions at Digital Equipment Corporation and at National Semiconductor Corporation.

For two years he has been employed as Executive Vice President and General Manager of Verification Division and for five years worked as Consultant at Cadence Design Systems Inc. He also work as Chief Executive Officer of Verisity Ltd., an EDA company, until the acquisition of Verisity by Cadence.

Gavrielov has over 25 years of experience in EDA industry and nearly 30 years of executive management and engineering experience with semiconductor and software companies to Xilinx. He also served as a Director of Reshape Inc., Director of Vitesse Semiconductor Corp., Director of Electronic Design Automation Consortium, Director of Verisity Ltd. and Director of Xpedion Design Systems, Inc.

Gavrielov holds a B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering and a M.S. degree in Computer Science from the Technion Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa, Israel.

His total compensation during the most recent fiscal year is more than 39 crore and the company had a total return of 7 percent.
