With an operating budget of almost $6 billion, the YMCA is the most powerful and well-known non-profit organizations on earth.

Catholic Charities is one of the largest charities in the United States, with headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia. They provide services to millions of people a year through activities, such as housing, health care, and disaster relief. Its mission statement can be found right in the slogan which is “Working to Reduce Poverty in America.” More than 1,700 agencies, organizations and institutions have joined the Catholic Charities network.
