Reliance industries Chairman, Mukesh Ambani is said to have donated 603 crores in the past year, while his wife, Nita Ambani is also a major philanthropist. Nita, Founder and Chairperson of Dirubhai Ambani International School, is actively involved in fields such as education, human resources and disaster relief. She is also part of a project called ‘Drishti’, which is a social initiative taken by Reliance Industries to provide opportunities for the blind.

He is said to have pledged 75 percent of his 21,000 crores to charity. The philanthropist is known for his good deeds and has donated 1796 crores last year. The estimated rate of 75 percent of his wealth results to around $2.6 billion or about 15,900 crores.
